Provisional Timetable:

10.30am – 11.00am     Registration.

11.00am – 11.15am     Introduction – The East Midlands Coalmining Heritage Forum (Natalie Braber – NTU / EMCHF Steering Group).

11.15am – 12.15pm     Dealing with conflict in the world of heritage (Graham Black & Chris Reynolds – NTU).

12.15pm – 1.00pm       Group Activity: How do the various coalmining heritage sites, organisations and collections in the East Midlands see the Forum working and what can they gain from it? (Stuart Warburton – EMCHF Steering Group / Coalville Heritage Society).

1.00pm – 2.00pm         Free Buffet Lunch and Networking.

2.00pm – 3.30pm         How can the Coalmining Heritage Forum fit in with the work of the Coal Authority and as a regional hub of the National Coalmining Museum for England (NCMFE)?  (Helen Simpson (Coal Authority) and Mark Carlyle (NCMFE) ).

3.30pm – 4.00pm         Findings and Conclusions – Natalie Braber (NTU / EMCHF Steering Group).

4.00pm                        End of Workshop.
